We meet at Clayton State University Library

We meet every other month starting in February, at Clayton State University in the University Center room 265.
We start at 3pm and end around 5pm. Everyone age 16 or older is welcome, from beginners to experts.

Park in the "G" area and walk to the University Center "12" on the map. Go to the entrance on the East Side. Once inside, look for our classroom across from the entrance to the Library.

PLEASE COME AND BRING A FRIEND!

October 6th meeting: Court Records!

October 6th:
Please join us for a discussion on Court Records.  Angela Pendleton (that's me!) will lead the conversation on what you can find at the local court house like Marriage Licenses, Death Certificates, Wills, Deeds and more! She will also share with you some of the gems that may be hiding in your local court house.

Have you ever had an eureka moment at the courthouse? Have you found anything surprising or special while you were researching court records? Please share your story and show us what you found after the Court Records discussion. (I can't wait to tell you about the crazy way I found a deed to my great grandmother's property!)

Angela is the Judicial Supervisor for the Clerk of Superior Court in Clayton County Georgia.

Don't forget to check out Selma and Vicki's blogs over there -->
and sign up to follow by email to get updates on our future meetings.

Next month: I'm dying to get it done! A death defying workshop on November 3rd.
