We meet at Clayton State University Library

We meet every other month starting in February, at Clayton State University in the University Center room 265.
We start at 3pm and end around 5pm. Everyone age 16 or older is welcome, from beginners to experts.

Park in the "G" area and walk to the University Center "12" on the map. Go to the entrance on the East Side. Once inside, look for our classroom across from the entrance to the Library.

Genealogy Organization Challenge!

Our next meeting will be on February 2nd. We will be discussing different ways to organize your genealogy information. To get us going, we are going to have a
GENEALOGY ORGANIZATION CHALLENGE!

We challenge you to pick something from your genealogy stock pile, and get it organized. It might be your genealogy file cabinet, or the digital files on your computer, or the photograph album that is falling apart. It can be a big mess, or just one small file. Just pick one thing and organize it! We want to hear what you did, and how you did it at our next meeting. Take a before and after picture and send it in to ourgenealogygroup@gmail.com
We welcome your submission even if you can't make it to the meeting. We want to see and share what you do. Don't want to do that? Print your pictures and bring them in, or make a display board to show your progress. Or bring in your file and show off your work!
We all can benefit from each other's organization ideas.

Here are some websites to get you started.
