We meet at Clayton State University Library

We meet every other month starting in February, at Clayton State University in the University Center room 265.
We start at 3pm and end around 5pm. Everyone age 16 or older is welcome, from beginners to experts.

Park in the "G" area and walk to the University Center "12" on the map. Go to the entrance on the East Side. Once inside, look for our classroom across from the entrance to the Library.

Social Media and Genealogy meeting on November 6th


Sorry for the late post everyone, but our next meeting will be tomorrow, November 6th at 3pm!
We are nearing the end our our year of the Genealogy Do-Over. Month 11 is for "Reviewing Social Media Options". I think Thomas MacEntee said it best when he wrote "you really can't succeed with your genealogy research these days without some use of social media". 

We are going to discuss the uses and benefits of social media and genealogy tomorrow.  Some social media sites we may discuss are Facebook groups, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, or simply  using hashtags to do some of your research is helpful as well. Our meeting will be led by Vicki.
