We meet at Clayton State University Library

We meet every other month starting in February, at Clayton State University in the University Center room 265.
We start at 3pm and end around 5pm. Everyone age 16 or older is welcome, from beginners to experts.

Park in the "G" area and walk to the University Center "12" on the map. Go to the entrance on the East Side. Once inside, look for our classroom across from the entrance to the Library.

February 5th Forms!

                                             FORMS – FORMS – FORMS

Let’s start 2017 out on the right foot . . . or the right form! Time to take a new look at the basic forms and how they can help your research and tracking as well as exploring some forms that might be new to some of us. We will have copies of the basic forms and a few new ones as well. If you have created a form that works for you – bring it and share! There are no right or wrong forms – just variations that make them more workable for each situation!

We will talk about best practices regarding each form: how to complete each; what to do with completed forms; how the forms relate to the software programs you may be using.

We will also take a bit of time to talk about the new Google Scanning App! Yay! Now you don't have to worry if you forgot to bring your big honking scanner to Auntie Grace's house next time your over there and she takes out your Great Great Grandfather's baby picture from under the bed.

See you all on February 5th at 3:00pm!

Please take the time to join us on Facebook if you are not already there.( Our Genealogy Group ) As this year, we are only going to be only meeting every other month, we are going to continue our discussions on Facebook. We hope to give you all some "homework" and then we can all have a lively discussion between February and March on the internet until we meet again on April 2nd.
